About the Opportunity
A rare opportunity to join a boutique law firm headquartered in Mumbai, offering a fully remote working arrangement. The firm is looking for a dynamic corporate lawyer with strong exposure to transactions, advisory work, regulatory matters and commercial contracting.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on a range of corporate and commercial matters, including day-to-day advisory and strategic legal issues.
- Handle and support corporate transactions, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating transaction documentation.
- Advise on applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements and contracts.
- Independently manage client matters and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with senior lawyers/partners on complex and high-value assignments.
Ideal Candidate
- 2–6 years of relevant PQE.
- Prior experience with the Corporate Practice of a law firm is mandatory.
- Strong experience across corporate transactions, corporate advisory, regulatory matters and commercial contracting.
- Good drafting, negotiation and client-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- Strong academic and professional credentials with excellent communication skills.
