Job Description: Corporate / M&A Lawyers (Multiple Levels)

Locations: Pan India (Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Remote)

About the roles
We're hiring Corporate/M&A lawyers at all levels for several top law firms across India. You'll advise domestic and international clients, including corporates, PE/VC funds, strategic investors and promoters, on high-value transactions across sectors.

Open levels

Key responsibilities (these scale with level)

• Work on public and private M&A, joint ventures, PE/VC investments, and strategic and distressed acquisitions
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including SPAs, SHAs, SSAs, BTAs and JV agreements
• Run legal due diligence and prepare diligence reports
• Advise on FEMA/FDI, Companies Act, SEBI (SAST and LODR) and Competition Act (CCI merger control) matters
• Handle corporate restructuring, including schemes of arrangement, demergers and slump sales
• Coordinate with bankers, advisors, foreign counsel and regulators
• At senior levels: lead deal teams, own client relationships, mentor juniors and drive business development
• At Partner level: bring a portable practice or strong client relationships, and help build the team and practice

Requirements

• LLB from a reputed law school, enrolled with the Bar Council of India
• Relevant corporate/M&A experience 
• A strong transaction track record in line with seniority
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and client-handling skills
• Cross-border deal experience is a plus
